The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with the established procedures and may be directed by your supervisors. This role is intended for candidates interested in pursuing training to become a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) and eventually a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).

Key Responsibilities

• Assists with housekeeping and laundry services including but not limited to, trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
• Assists with all aspects of meal service including but not limited to, transportation of residents to and from dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring great dining experience.
• Provides great customer service, companionship, and communication with our residents by answering call lights in a timely manner, checking in with residents frequently and assisting with engagement in activities.
• Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
• Attends and participates in a training program leading to certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and eventually Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred
• 0-1 Years of relevant experience preferred
