Position Overview
The Network/Telecommunications Intern works as an apprentice under the direction of the AVP of Network Operations and is responsible for functions needed in the It Department. The Telecommunciations Intern will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the Company. Other key responsibilities include:
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors and all business associates outside of the health campus.

Position Overview
The Network/Telecommunications Intern works as an apprentice under the direction of the AVP of Network Operations and is responsible for functions needed in the It Department. The Telecommunciations Intern will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the Company. Other key responsibilities include:
- Prepare network and telecom equipment for deployment, including unboxing, labeling, and organizing hardware.
- Complete basic device configuration using established procedures and standardized templates.
- Assist with inventory control, asset tracking, and documentation updates.
- Perform simple troubleshooting tasks such as cable verification, port checks, and basic connectivity testing.
- Support phone provisioning and workstation-level setup activities as directed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and update tickets or documentation as required.
- Follow departmental procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Participate in training and shadowing opportunities to build knowledge of network and telecom operations
- Other duties as needed and assigned
