Position Overview
The Internal Audit Intern works as an apprentice under the direction of the VP -Internal Audit and is responsible for functions needed in the Internal Audit Department. The Internal Audit will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the Company. Other key responsibilities include:
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors and all business associates outside of the health campus.

Position Overview
The Internal Audit Intern works as an apprentice under the direction of the VP -Internal Audit and is responsible for functions needed in the Internal Audit Department. The Internal Audit will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the Company. Other key responsibilities include:
- Conduct operational audits, including reviewing purchasing card transactions, expense reimbursements, pharmacy claims and financial controls for compliance.
- Prepare audit reports, risk assessments, and presentations using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Assist with audit engagements, departmental projects, and serve as a resource for broader audit initiatives.
- Support the evaluation and enhancement of internal controls and risk mitigation processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain, update, and manage audit-related data, records, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance initiatives and process improvement efforts.
