Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our team. The Porter will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, assisting with logistics, and supporting the overall operations of our facility. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for residents and staff alike. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to handle various tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, vacant units and ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies
• Help coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth daily operations
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during handling of materials and movement within the premises
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly

Experience

• Prior experience in custodial work, facilities maintenance, or related roles is preferred but not required
• Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment and tools effectively
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Reliable transportation or a valid driver’s license is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
