Trillium Professional is seeking an experienced Tax Manager for a direct-hire opportunity with an established public accounting and business advisory firm serving clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who currently reviews complex returns and enjoys serving as a technical resource, mentoring tax staff, and advising clients on tax compliance and planning strategies.
What You’ll Do
- Review complex individual, partnership, S-Corporation, C-Corporation, fiduciary, trust, and estate tax returns
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state tax regulations
- Conduct tax research and identify tax-planning opportunities
- Review the work of Tax Accountants and Senior Tax Accountants
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to tax staff
- Work directly with clients, attorneys, and financial advisors
- Support client relationship management and business development initiatives
- Manage multiple engagements and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Active CPA certification and/or Enrolled Agent license required
- At least 3–5 years of tax experience within a public accounting firm
- Current experience reviewing complex tax returns in a public accounting environment
- Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary, trust, and estate taxation
- Thorough understanding of federal and state tax regulations
- Strong tax research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of other tax professionals
- Proficiency with professional tax preparation and review software
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Hybrid schedule with three days per week on-site
