Volunteer Supervisor (Hybrid – Portland Metro Region)
Part-Time (32 hrs./week) | $22.00/hour-$24.00/hour
Location: Must live in Oregon or Washington and be able to work on-site regularly in the Portland Metro area.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Volunteer Supervisor to lead volunteer engagement and support fundraising and community initiatives. This role connects volunteers to our mission, coordinates event participation, and builds partnerships with local businesses and community groups.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit, onboard, and supervise volunteers for events and programs
Coordinate volunteer support for fundraising events and campus activities
Build relationships with community partners, businesses, and volunteer groups
Conduct orientations and gather feedback to improve volunteer experience
Match volunteers with roles based on skills and interests
Support holiday programs and special events
Maintain volunteer records and assist with data entry (Raiser’s Edge or similar)
Provide on-site support during events and supervise volunteers
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (2-year degree 3 years' experience accepted)
Experience in volunteer coordination, events, or community engagement required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; database experience preferred
Additional Requirements
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed for events
