Senior ArcGIS Support Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a highly skilled ArcGIS Support Engineer to join our team and provide end-to-end GIS system support, automation, and maintenance. This role involves managing and troubleshooting ArcGIS Enterprise & ArcGIS Online, ArcFM Desktop / Web / Mobile, ArcGIS Experience Builder, and FME, as well as scripting backend processes using ArcPy (Python) to enhance system performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise deployments, geodatabase management, scheduling compressions, maintaining mobile TPKs, publishing map services, and working with geometric networks. You will play a key role in our upgrade efforts of ArcFM & ArcGIS-based GIS solutions while ensuring system stability and automation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Automate maintenance & monitoring tasks for ArcGIS Enterprise applications and services.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise Server, web adapters, and GIS platform components.
• Schedule and perform geodatabase compressions and optimize geodatabase performance.
• Manage and troubleshoot ArcGIS geometric networks and validate utility network configurations (ArcGIS Utility Network knowledge is a huge plus).
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot mobile TPKs, web tile caches, and published map services for desktop, web, and mobile users.
• Provide ArcFM support to end-users, including issue resolution, performance monitoring, and system optimization.
• Manage incidents, document issue resolutions, and improve system outage procedures for effective problem-solving.
• Develop backend automation scripts using ArcPy and Python to improve system efficiency.
• Conduct knowledge transfer (KT) sessions for teammates and new joiners to ensure technical upskilling.
• Monitor, manage, and update ArcGIS Enterprise applications across multiple servers to ensure system stability and availability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and GIS teams to enhance workflows and drive automation initiatives.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

GIS & Geospatial Technologies:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in ArcGIS Utility Network is a huge plus.
• Strong ability to configure, deploy, and optimize ArcGIS Server, Web Adapters, and related GIS platform components.
• Experience in GIS automation, monitoring system health, and implementing performance improvements.
• Knowledge of GIS tools and best practices for maintaining enterprise GIS environments.
• Excellent documentation skills for tracking issues, maintenance logs, and outage recovery procedures.
