Job Overview
This position coordinates the workflow of the office. This includes answering and transferring phone calls, assisting in scheduling patients/appointments/meetings, announcement of patients/visitors. This position is responsible for follow tip on daily routines such as typing, billing, ordering, and training of new personnel. This position must be able to develop a good rapport with intra and interdepartmental staff, patients, customers, students and physicians (as applicable.) This position acts as a resource person to all personnel in department.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- 1 - 2 years' experience Clerical (Required)
- Excellent telephone and good communication skills, ability to set priorities, competent in computer skills, ability to type 35 wpm. Attention to detail and accuracy
- Accurately completes specific department delegated duties in a timely manner. For example, maintaining inventory of department supplies, medical records request, back up to aide/attendant, etc.
- Arranges & coordinates meetings & appointment calendar for staff. Appointments are scheduled, canceled, and rescheduled as needed without error.
- Meeting rooms are secured & groups informed.
- Assists other personnel with typing needs and acting as a receptionist
- Orders office supplies as needed or takes classes to enhance skills and attends informational meetings to keep informed.
