Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
TriHealth is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care in all patient care settings, including the administration of therapeutic modalities, management of mechanical ventilation, and assessment of therapy appropriateness and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory care therapeutic modalities as prescribed by physicians
- Manage mechanical ventilation and assess therapy effectiveness
- Assist in clinical education of Respiratory Therapy Students
- Participate in diagnostic activities such as ABG procurement and analysis
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registry or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Current Ohio licensure
- Knowledge of Advanced Cardiopulmonary Physiology and other sciences related to respiratory care
- 1-2 years experience in a related field
