Job Overview
Trigo Wood Fired Pizza is a strictly wood fired kitchen with a focus on local, seasonal ingredients - our ethos is simple, fresh and elevated. Part-time and full-time positions available. We are looking for either a prep cook, a line cook or a candidate who can do both.
Ideal candidate can execute from-scratch prep lists and high volume line shifts.
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in professional kitchen/restaurant. Wood fired cooking, large batch dough making, fresh pasta and pizza experience a plus.
Skills:
- Trigo is a high volume open kitchen so ability to maintain composure under pressure is a must. The right candidate must also maintain a neat appearance
- We are a small, from scratch kitchen so efficiency in completing prep list is essential. The open kitchen is tight quarters, so ability to work well with a team is important
- Experience with local, seasonal produce
- Serve Safe Food Handlers certification or equivalent
- Attention to detail and high standards of food
- Experience with large format dough a plus
Duties:
- Prep from-scratch menu items daily
- Large format dough prep
- Work high-volume shifts on the line
- Work quickly and efficiently with a strictly wood fired oven
Competitive pay, matching 401K offered for full-time employees, closed Sunday, Monday and all major holidays. Pay commensurate with experience.
