Quality Lineside Liaison – Short-Term Contract (3 Months) | Multiple Shifts | 1099 Contractor
$22-24/hour
Trigo Quality Solutions are currently hiring Quality Inspectors for a short-term, 3-month project supporting inspection activities at a manufacturing facility in Plymouth, MI. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with prior inspection or manufacturing quality experience who are detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Assignment Details
- Contract Length: Approximately 3 months
- Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Onsite Location: Plymouth, MI
- Schedule: Monday–Friday or weekend shifts depending on assignment
- Overtime may be available based on project needs
Monday - Friday
1st Shift 6AM – 6PM
2nd Shift 6PM – 6PM
3rd Shift (Weekend Schedule)
- Friday & Saturday: 6AM – 6PM
- Sunday & Monday: 6PM – 6AM
Job Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of painted and unpainted parts
- Identify cosmetic defects, damage, or nonconforming conditions
- Report and document damaged or defective parts accurately
- Follow inspection procedures and customer quality requirements
- Maintain accurate inspection records and reporting documentation
- Communicate findings clearly with onsite leadership and project teams
- Support containment or sorting activities as required
- Follow all site safety guidelines and procedures
- Inspection performed directly on production parts within a manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience inspecting painted surfaces or cosmetic finishes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform inspections for extended periods
- Dependable attendance and ability to work assigned schedule
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a contract role
