Job Title: Project Manager / Senior Analyst (HHS and/or Pharmaceutical Experience)
Location: Hybrid/Onsite- DC/MD/VA
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Analyst to support a federal government contract involving health and data-focused system modernization. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) or with pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations.
This individual will play a key role in managing project activities, coordinating technical teams, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of healthcare and regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or support the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities in alignment with program objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams, government stakeholders, and business users.
- Develop project documentation, including schedules, requirements, deliverables, and progress reports.
- Track milestones, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of all project components.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and system optimization.
- Support data analysis, reporting, and documentation to meet compliance and performance requirements.
- Facilitate meetings, status updates, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, government standards, and contractual requirements.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen or (required for government contract eligibility).
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation.
- Bachelor s degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or systems implementation.
- Demonstrated experience working with HHS agencies (e.g., FDA, NIH, CMS, HRSA, CDC) or pharmaceutical companies.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, regulatory processes, or drug data management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello, or similar) and collaboration platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, CSM, or other recognized project management certification.
- Experience in Agile or hybrid project management environments.
- Familiarity with data integration, reporting tools, or cloud-based health information systems (e.g., AWS, Tableau, Power BI).
Work Arrangement:
- Position supports a federal government contract.
