Senior SAP (Sales & Distribution) Specialist

Job description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP SD Specialist with 12 years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving complex project deliveries and leading at least 5 full-lifecycle SAP implementations from blueprinting through go-live and post-production support.

In this role, you will lead project-focused initiatives, design robust order-to-cash (OTC) solutions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to align technology with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead and execute SAP SD project initiatives across all project phases: Requirement Gathering, Business Blueprinting, Solution Design, Realization, Testing, Data Migration, Cutover, and Post-Go-Live Support.
• Core OTC Design & Configuration: Perform end-to-end hands-on configuration in SAP ECC SD, including Master Data, Order Management, Pricing & Conditions, Billing/Invoicing, Credit Management, Returns, and Output Determination.
• Cross-Functional Integration: Partner with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between SAP SD and related modules (MM, FI/CO, PP, and WM/LES).
• Technical Interface & ABAP Collaboration: Write detailed Functional Specifications (FS) for custom enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms (WRICEFF objects). Collaborate closely with ABAP developers for custom developments and debugging.
• Stakeholder Management: Conduct workshops, capture complex business requirements, and translate them into scalable SAP standard solutions while minimizing custom code.
• Testing & Cutover Management: Design comprehensive test scenarios, manage Unit Testing (UT), Integration Testing (IT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and drive cutover strategy activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 12 years of dedicated, hands-on functional experience in SAP ECC Sales & Distribution (SD).
• Implementation Track Record: Proven experience completing at least 5 full lifecycle SAP implementations (from inception through go-live).
• Core Mastery: Deep expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, complex pricing procedures, billing frameworks, consignment, intercompany sales, and third-party order processing.
• Integration Expertise: Strong understanding of SAP SD integration points with FI/CO (Revenue Recognition/Account Determination), MM (Availability Check/ATP), and WM/LES (Shipping/Logistics Execution).
• Technical Literacy: Proficiency in reading/debugging basic ABAP, executing IDoc troubleshooting, and designing complex interfaces with legacy systems.
• Communication & Leadership: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills with a track record of guiding cross-functional teams and business users.
