What are the responsibilities and job description for the Post Production Editor position at Triflix LLC?
We're hiring a Full-Time Post-Production Editor at TRIFLIX.
As TRIFLIX continues to grow, we're looking for someone to join our team and take an increasingly important role in our post-production workflow.
We're looking for someone with a strong eye for color, consistency, and detail who can help take projects from captured media through final delivery.
Position: Full-Time Post-Production Editor
Pay: $17–$20/hour based on experience and demonstrated skill, with opportunities for additional increases as new skills and responsibilities are mastered.
Schedule: 40 hours per week. We have some flexibility with scheduling, including the possibility of starting and finishing earlier in the day.
What you'll work on:
- Photo editing and color grading
- Video color correction and grading
- Quality control for photo and video projects
- Organizing and managing project media
- Preparing final exports and deliverables
- Uploading and distributing finished media
- Handling routine revisions and corrections
- Maintaining consistency across our projects
- Following and helping improve our post-production workflows and standards
The type of work you'll be editing:
Most of our day-to-day work includes real estate, talking-head and interview content, commercial projects, and events.
Some of that work is fast-turnaround and follows established workflows, while other projects are more custom and allow for a greater level of creative editing. We're looking for someone who can be efficient and consistent when the process is standardized, while still having a strong creative eye when a project calls for it.
Our primary editing software:
• Adobe Lightroom
• Adobe Photoshop
• Final Cut Pro
Experience with these programs is preferred. If you're strong in post-production but haven't worked extensively in all three, we're still open to applicants who can demonstrate strong fundamentals and the ability to learn our workflow.
Applicants should be comfortable working with and learning AI-enabled tools as part of the job.
We're especially interested in someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, comfortable learning new workflows, and interested in growing with the role rather than staying in one narrow area of post-production.
To apply, please email careers@triflix.com with:
- Your resume or relevant work history
- A portfolio demonstrating your editing and color-grading ability. Before-and-after examples are especially helpful.
- A 1–3 minute video introducing yourself, explaining why you're interested in the position and why you think you'd be a good fit for TRIFLIX
- Your experience with Lightroom, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, and any other editing software you use
- Your general availability / preferred work schedule
Final candidates may also be asked to complete a short practical editing exercise using sample TRIFLIX media.
TRIFLIX is a video and photo production company based in Columbus, Indiana. We're building a team that produces high-quality work without the overly rigid structure that sometimes comes with production environments. We still expect a lot from our work, but we want the people making it to enjoy being part of the process.
If this sounds like you, or you know someone who would be a great fit, we'd like to hear from you.
