Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of animal enclosures, kennels, and common areas.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
• Monitor the cleanliness of the facility throughout the day and address any sanitation issues promptly.
• Assist with the proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and assistants to maintain a hygienic environment conducive to animal care.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management immediately.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with animal care practices, including pet grooming, dog training, or handling is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and visitors.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
