Key Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples using proper protocols and techniques.
- Receive pre-collected specimens from clients.
- Prepare specimens for transport to the laboratory.
- Transport specimens to the laboratory.
- Accurately document all tasks according to established protocols.
Work Environment
You will frequently work with patients who may respond emotionally to blood draws or require advanced techniques due to their physical condition. The successful candidate must be able to function consistently under stress and maintain a high level of safety awareness.
The work environment includes driving a company or personal vehicle over various distances in different weather and traffic conditions.
