The Flex Officer role delivers broad hands-on experience across a variety of security environments, filling open shifts, special assignments, and coverage gaps while developing the skills needed to grow into supervisory and leadership positions.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide professional security coverage at a variety of client locations
- Fill open shifts, call-offs, vacation coverage, and special assignments as required
- Carry out foot patrols and staff standing posts for extended periods
- Keep an eye on designated areas to ensure safety, security, and policy compliance
- Maintain a visible, professional presence at all times
- Stay in contact with supervisors and operations staff via phone or computer
- Adjust quickly to changing assignments and last-minute coverage requests
- Follow TRIDENT standards, post procedures, and customer service expectations

Work Schedule & Availability
- Shift assignments change from week to week based on operational demand
- Schedules are typically released one week in advance
- Some assignments may carry short-notice expectations
- Additional hours may be available via training coverage or unexpected needs
