$300,000 OTE | $150,000 Base
This is a rare opportunity to become the first Federal sales hire for a Series A, VC-backed cybersecurity company that is fundamentally changing how security compliance is achieved across the public sector.
My client have built a platform that automates and accelerates security compliance and accreditation, enabling agencies to achieve outcomes like FedRAMP, FISMA, ATO and continuous monitoring significantly faster than traditional, manual approaches.
They are now investing in their Federal motion for the first time.
This role offers the chance to personally own and build the Federal GTM strategy, working directly with the CRO and founding team to establish the company’s footprint across US Government.
You will be the Go To Fed Sales hire, the only Fed Sales Account Executive in the business.
The Opportunity
As the first Federal Account Executive, you will:
- Own the Federal market for the organization.
- Define the sales motion, messaging, and initial market approach.
- Build pipeline from scratch and establish long-term agency relationships.
- Influence product direction through direct government engagement.
- My client have had recent Fed wins and a lot of interest, it is time to build on this!
The Company

- Removes operational burden from security, risk, and compliance teams
Background needed:
This role suits an experienced and successful senior Fed seller who:
- Brings at least 7 years of experience selling into U.S. Federal Government
- Has consistently delivered $1.5M in annual new business
- Owns senior-level relationships across Public, defense, or intelligence agencies
- Is comfortable operating in early-stage, ambiguous environments.
- Can operate strategically at the CISO/CIO/Program level.
