Summary:
Inventories, stores, prices, and restocks merchandise displays in retail store by performing the following duties. Dispense fuel in a safe and secure manner to vessels, gas dock, plant operations, as dictated by location.
Essential functions (responsibilities, tasks, supervisory needs)
- Takes inventory or examines merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
- Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise, checking invoice against items received
- Dispense fuel to vessels, vehicles, plant operations through various means. Maintain all records related to the dispensing/selling of fuel.
- Manages the daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of fuel sold and/or allocated.
- Works with plant staff to ensure equipment is functional and operational.
- In some locations, may be responsible for writing up invoices for fuel sales to vessels, reconciling sales with fuel stores at the end of their shift and submitting report for balancing out invoices and sales of fuel sold

Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)
- Must be a current Trident Seafoods employee or have worked for Trident Seafoods before
- Has worked in Fuel & Store position in a Trident location in the past year.
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, write and speak basic English. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to accurately conduct cash transactions using American money

Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must routinely lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or up to 40 pounds.
