CNC Machine Operator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled turning machinist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be able to lift and maneuver large parts, tools or fixtures (up to 30lbs). As a CNC machinist, you will play a crucial role in operating machines such as lathes, to shape and machine metal according to precise specifications ensuring parts meet quality standards, function properly and are safe for further processing or use.

Duties

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines, including lathes and other turning equipment, to produce parts based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select and install appropriate tooling, inserts, and fixtures for each job.
• Load and unload materials into the machine and secure parts appropriately.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse or factory environment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production processes.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail to ensure all parts meet quality standards.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating tolerances
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.
• Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
