We are looking for a Marine Filtration Assembler to join our Iron River, MI Team!
The Marine Filtration Assembler will perform diversified assembly and erection operations to assemble intricate or large and expensive apparatus, machines or equipment to close tolerances and strict inspection requirements. Work requires skill and assembling techniques, plus experience and a knowledge of design and basic mechanical principles. This position will demonstrate the ability to meet routed hours with acceptable quality and safety.

MAJOR DUTIES
- Follow complicated assembly drawings, specifications, and procedures to perform skilled fitting of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units
- Align and adjust required secondary machining
- Coach, mentor and check work and procedures of Electrical assemblers
- Use a variety of precision measuring instruments and gauging devices
- Follow advanced set up and procedures for final assemblies
- Coordinate preparation for shipping process
- Perform Quality Checks through entire assembly process.
- Ensure that the product meets all quality standards as defined in shop order routingsRead shop order notes and adhere to assembly torque specs and apply proper lubricants including but not limited to anti-seize, RTV, and adhesives.
- Identify and comply with quality hold points and sign offs per routings, drawings, and engineering.
- Run basic hydraulic and applications
- Safely use crane to assist with building and relocating products
- Other duties as assigned
- Electrical Assembly experience strongly preferred
- Blueprint Reading, Math, and Measuring Device experience
- Experience with Crane Operations and Rigging heavy items on the floor
- Knowledge of basic hydraulic functions and how they operate
- Perform work on elevated equipment & surfaces
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs.
- Long periods of standing, bending, and crouching
