Marina General Manager
Seeking an experienced Marina General Manager to support existing marina operations of approximately 200 slips. A successful candidate possesses strong skills in tenant relations, maintenance, employee supervision/motivation, and property management experience. This position will oversee all aspects of marina/dock/service/storage yard operations, supervision of support staffing, and drive the sales, leasing, and service efforts.
Basic Job Duties:
- Enforce day to day marina operations.
- Execute and oversee maintenance work done throughout the facilities to ensure safe and acceptable property and equipment, as well as esthetics appearance.
- Coordinate and oversee safe and efficient docking/undocking of vessels. Forklift and travelift experience required.
- Effectively manage sales, facilities, and guest relations to sustain and optimize profitability, performance, and guest satisfaction.
- Strong tenant relations with high level of diplomacy.
- Possess strong organizational, record keeping, and time management skills.
- Possess excellent attention to detail and communication skills (oral and written).
- Prior experience with docks and/or marina maintenance on a management level.
- Prior experience with fueling operations on a management and operational level.
- Prior experience with yacht service operations on a management level.
- Other duties as occur from time to time.
Job Type: Full-time
Job Requirements:
- Management: 2 years
- Current USCG Captain’s license strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- During the season, weekend hours are required
