CNA Staffing Coordinator
The following is a non-exhaustive criteria that relates to the job of CNA Staffing Coordinator, and it is consistent with the business needs of the facility. These are legitimate measures of the qualifications for CNA Staffing Coordinator and are related to the functions that are essential to the job of CNA Staffing Coordinator.
KNOWLEDGE BASE:
- Ability to create, maintain and modify a daily/monthly schedule and maintain these records for at least 18 months in an organized fashion
- Understand the needs of the facility budget related to staffing and remain within budgeted PPD for staffing
- Will take call 2 weeks per month
- Will cover critical vacancies by personal attendance
- Have the ability to effectively, compassionately and directly communicate facility policy in conjunction with the HR Department
- Assist with CNA ski 1s check-off and monitoring for annual compliance
- Assist in arranging staffing agreements and required documentation with staffing agencies with Administrator approval when necessary
- Assure all staff health related paperwork (TB, Hep 8, Flu etc.) is up to date and in the Employee Health File upon hire and annually thereafter
- Document absences using the correct facility approved methods
- Recommend to supervisor and/or administration any disciplinary pursuits
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency with regard to attendance is extremely important to this job. The ability to regularly and timely attend work, cooperative and politely work and deal with
others, and to effectively multi-task and work in a stressful environment are also essential functions to this job.
STATEMENT: This position reports to the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing.
