Job Summary
Position: Warehouse Operator 2
Location: Cleveland, OH 44125
Pay Rate: $19/hour on W2 (All inclusive)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30PM (40 hours/week)
Type of Hire: Contract
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspection: Unload incoming materials from vendors, inspect for damage, verify quantities, and apply inspection labels.
- Inventory Management: Use SAP to record receipts, maintain inventory data, and perform movements within 24 hours.
- Material Handling: Safely transport materials using forklifts or tow motors; deliver raw materials to production and lab areas.
- Packaging & Shipping: Follow hazardous materials regulations for packing, labeling, and shipping customer orders.
- Quality & Safety: Identify and report product defects; comply with RCRA, OSHA, and company safety standards.
- Housekeeping & Organization: Maintain clean, organized storage areas and support 5S initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in training, safety initiatives, and process improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic SAP proficiency (for inventory management).
- Certifications: Must be forklift certified (or willing to train/certify).
- Safety & Compliance: Must pass background check, drug/alcohol screening, respirator clearance, and annual hearing test.
Physical & Safety Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Required PPE (personal protective equipment) due to chemical exposure.
- Respirator use and medical clearance required.
- Comply with ISO9001/14001/45001 safety and quality systems.
