Technical Product Owner

Trident Consulting is seeking a "Technical Product Owner" for one of our client in Morris Plains, NJ. A global leader in business and technology services.

Location: Morris Plains, NJ or Austin, TX or Franklin, TN or Bloomfield, CT (Hybrid)
Type: Contract (C2C/W2)
Required Skills: Product Owner, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, COBOL, JAVA, Python and Healthcare.
Pay Rate: $60-70/hr on C2C

Required Skills:
12 years in the IT industry, with 8 years as a Product Owner.
Strong background in Healthcare domain; PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) knowledge is a plus.
Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Familiarity with at least one programming language (COBOL, Java, Python).
Proficient in Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Jira for backlog and sprint management.
Prior experience as a Scrum Master is desirable.

Job Summary: 1. Product Ownership & Vision
o Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.
o Prioritize features and manage product backlog to maximize value delivery.

2. Stakeholder Management
o Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including business teams, engineering, QA, and operations.
o Gather and document requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.

3. Delivery & Execution
o Track deliverables and ensure timely completion of sprints/releases.
o Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

4. Domain Expertise
o Leverage healthcare domain knowledge to guide product decisions.
o Understand PBM processes and integrate them into product features where applicable.

5. Technical Acumen
o Work closely with technical teams; understand architecture and design considerations.
o Utilize knowledge of cloud platforms and programming languages to make informed decisions.

6. Agile Leadership
o Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and promote Agile best practices.
o Act as a servant leader to remove impediments and enable team success.

7. Documentation & Compliance
o Maintain comprehensive documentation for requirements, user stories, and release notes.
o Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and security standards.
