Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Engineer-Product Security

Location: Burlington, MA (Hybrid)

Type of Hire: Full Time/Direct Hire

Salary range: $140K PA to $180K PA with Benefits

Relocation assistance available (up to $10,000)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Embedded Product Security Engineer to lead the security architecture and secure development of embedded medical devices. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in medical device security, embedded systems, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and security testing while partnering with firmware, software, and systems engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architecture for embedded and connected medical devices.
• Lead secure-by-design initiatives, including threat modeling and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, and systems engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage vulnerability assessments, remediation, and third-party penetration testing.
• Develop and maintain product security processes, standards, and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with medical device security and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Product Security, or Software Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in Medical Device Security (Required).
• Strong background in embedded systems security and secure architecture.
• Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FDA-regulated or healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 14971, IEC 81001-5-1, NIST, or similar security frameworks.
• Experience with embedded systems, IoT security, and security process development.
