Role: Optical Engineer
Location: Burlington, MA(Onsite)
Type: W2 Contract
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device product development, with experience taking products from initial concept through commercial release.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing machine vision/imaging systems and light delivery or illumination systems.
- Strong knowledge of optical characterization techniques and testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with optomechanical design of optical subsystems, tooling, and precision fixtures.
- Proficiency with Zemax and SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with medical device design controls, verification and validation processes, and regulatory requirements, including FDA QSR and ISO 13485.
- Experience developing test methods and protocols for optical performance and reliability.
