Role: Microbiology Research Technician
Location: St. Louis (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $26–30/hr. on W2
Duration: 12 Months | Monday–Friday | 40 hrs/week
Flexibility Required: Ability to start as early as 6:00 AM (2–3 days/week)
Position Summary
- Seeking a Microbiology Research Technician to support food safety and pathogen detection projects in an R&D laboratory environment. This role requires hands-on microbiology experience, pathogen testing knowledge, and strong laboratory practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform food safety microbiology testing and pathogen detection experiments
- Prepare culture media, propagate cultures, and identify microorganisms
- Support bacterial pathogen testing in a BSL-II laboratory environment
- Perform PCR testing and microbiology assays
- Execute, troubleshoot, and document experiments
- Analyze data and maintain accurate laboratory records
- Follow laboratory safety and documentation standards
