Pay Rate: $24/hr on W2
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking a Technician III to join the Filtration Research & Development (R&D) Applications Group within MilliporeSigma's Process Solutions business unit. In this role, you will perform laboratory-based filtration testing and experiments that support the development of innovative filtration products and technologies.
You will collaborate closely with scientists and engineers to execute experiments, document results, troubleshoot laboratory processes, and contribute to R&D projects while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory filtration testing and execute R&D experiments with minimal supervision.
- Follow detailed experimental protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare and mix laboratory solutions according to established procedures.
- Document experimental work using an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN).
- Collect, organize, and perform basic analysis of experimental data.
- Troubleshoot laboratory experiments and equipment as needed.
- Assist scientists and engineers with experimental planning and execution.
- Prepare technical reports and summarize laboratory findings.
- Support product testing and evaluation during product development.
- Maintain compliance with laboratory safety, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and ergonomic practices.
- Meet project timelines while ensuring accurate and high-quality documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
One of the following is required:
- Associate's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
OR
- High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of laboratory experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on laboratory experience following experimental protocols.
- Experience preparing and mixing laboratory reagents and solutions.
- Experience documenting laboratory work using Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN).
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a laboratory environment.
- Experience supporting product development or product testing.
- Knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) practices.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
