Pay Rate: $27 – $30/hour
Time Sheet: Weekly, Time In/Time Out
Position Overview
The Production Technician II is a mid-level role within the aseptic filling group in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The position involves performing aseptic filling operations, equipment setup, component preparation, and cleanroom activities, with increasing responsibility and leadership tasks over time. Exposure to SIP100 and mandatory PPE usage required.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain certification for entry into GMP cleanroom operations.
- Execute aseptic filling processes using batch records and SOPs.
- Verify equipment calibration and perform sanitization of supplies.
- Progress through manufacturing functions including component prep, filling, capping, and packaging.
- Work with minimal supervision and provide floor leadership when required.
- Train new team members and coordinate tasks to meet production schedules.
- Transport or dispose of hazardous chemicals safely.
- Follow strict health and safety protocols (no infectious diseases or open lesions allowed).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred).
- 3–5 years of aseptic filling experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
- Strong knowledge of GMP compliance regulations.
- Hands-on experience in aseptic filling processes, equipment cleaning/preparation, stopper prep, capping, and packaging.
- Ability to read and follow detailed procedures and perform calculations accurately.
- Fluent English communication (verbal & written).
- Physically capable of standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive hand/arm tasks.
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel) a plus.
