Position Overview: Your duties will include performing essential tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our projects while adhering to safety and security regulations. This position requires physical stamina, teamwork, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Abide by all safety and security regulations on the job site.
- Assist in preparing the work site at the beginning of each shift.
- Handle and stage materials as needed for construction activities.
- Follow directions from the site Foreman or Superintendent.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks.
- Assist in installing storm drains, water, and sewer mains, including service connections.
- Participate in daily clean-up and return tools and equipment at the end of each shift.
- Lift 50 pounds and carry, push, or pull heavy objects as required.
- Stay attentive and mindful of surroundings to maintain a safe work environment.
- Wear protective equipment/gear as necessary (gloves, eye wear, hard hats, steel-toed boots, etc.).
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Physically capable of performing the duties outlined above.
