Duties
- Support the head coach in planning and executing engaging volleyball practices that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Assist with game-day preparations, including setting up drills, managing equipment, and providing on-court guidance to players.
- Help monitor athlete behavior, promote positive conduct, and implement behavior management strategies to ensure a respectful team environment.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff to relay team updates, schedule changes, and performance feedback.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of new athletes by fostering enthusiasm for volleyball and encouraging participation among diverse student groups.
Experience
- Prior experience working with Volleyball club teams is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of volleyball techniques and team leadership skills gained through sports coaching experience or playing at a competitive level.
- Background in sports-specific training instruction or coaching certifications related to volleyball or other team sports such as soccer or basketball.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies to foster discipline and teamwork among young athletes.
- Strong communication skills for effective client (player and parent) engagement and team coordination.
