Business Placement Specialist (non-sales)
TRICOR, LLC is expanding our Commercial Lines (Business) team and hiring a Business Placement Specialist. This behind-the-scenes role is ideal for someone who wants to build a meaningful career in insurance without sales or client-facing responsibilities. You’ll work closely with our producers and carrier underwriters to support the placement and marketing of business accounts—playing a key role in helping clients get the right coverage at the right time.
While this role is preferred to be based out of our Madison office location, we will consider other TRICOR office locations for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do
- Market new and renewal business accounts to the appropriate carriers.
- Serve as the liaison between producers and carrier underwriters.
- Review information, recommend solutions, and prepare proposals.
- Address carrier questions and negotiate terms and conditions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete submissions.
- Build strong relationships with agency staff and carrier partners.
- Support the team with market insights and placement strategies.

- A valid Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license
- Two years of Business Placement experience, and/or
- Five years of experience in the Commercial Line/Business Insurance industry
