Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help design, build, and deliver robust data solutions for our clients across multiple industries. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with client teams to gather requirements, architect scalable data pipelines, and implement solutions that drive business insights.

This position is ideal for a candidate with a solid foundation in data engineering, proven hands-on experience with modern data platforms and tools, and the ability to tackle complex data challenges in a dynamic consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to understand their business needs and create tailored data engineering solutions.

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data warehouses to enable advanced analytics and reporting.

• Assess and audit data quality, integrity, and performance, recommending improvements where needed.

• Lead and mentor data engineers and analysts, providing technical guidance throughout project lifecycles.

• Optimize and tune data pipelines and queries for maximum efficiency and speed.

• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for all data engineering initiatives.

• Stay informed on emerging tools and trends in data engineering, advising clients on best practices and new technologies.

• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, presentations, and client meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8-12 years of experience in data engineering, ideally within consulting or client-facing roles.

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.

• Proven expertise with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Flink.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases (BigQuery experience preferred).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment and work independently or collaboratively.

• Willingness to travel for client engagements as needed.
