Senior Analytics Engineer (MarTech / Digital Analytics)
Location: Fort Lee, NJ
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to support enterprise-wide digital analytics and marketing technology initiatives. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across marketing, product, and digital teams.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, mParticle, customer data platforms (CDPs), event tracking frameworks, and digital measurement strategies. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection, customer journey measurement, and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable digital analytics solutions across web and mobile platforms.
- Define and maintain event tracking specifications, data layers, and measurement frameworks.
- Configure, validate, and optimize Adobe Analytics implementations.
- Partner with engineering teams to support data collection and tagging strategies.
- Work with customer data platforms such as mParticle to enable customer identity resolution and audience activation.
- Support product and marketing teams with analytics requirements and measurement strategies.
- Build and maintain analytics datasets, reporting structures, and KPI frameworks.
- Conduct data quality audits and troubleshoot tracking discrepancies.
- Develop documentation for analytics implementations, governance, and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimization and improved customer experiences.
- Translate business requirements into technical analytics solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor//'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Marketing Technology, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in digital analytics, analytics engineering, marketing technology, or related disciplines.
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics.
- Experience with Amplitude or similar product analytics platforms.
- Experience with mParticle, Segment, Tealium, or other CDP technologies.
- Strong understanding of customer journey analytics and event-based data models.
- Experience implementing and validating tracking requirements across websites and applications.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
- Experience working with tag management solutions and data layer architectures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Launch or Adobe Experience Platform.
- Experience with marketing attribution and campaign measurement.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Knowledge of customer data platforms and identity management concepts.
- Experience in enterprise-scale digital analytics environments.
