Location: 125 Colfax Street, Springdale, PA 15144
Type: 6-Month Contract (W2)
Shift: First Shift, Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Job Summary:
Our fortune 500 Paint Manufacturing client is seeking a Quality Control Technician to work onsite at our Springdale, PA plant. The technician will be responsible for testing raw materials and finished goods in the QC lab. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate property testing to support both internal production and customer quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform sample testing (e.g., viscosity, pH, density) and determine necessary adjustments

Communicate test results and adjustments to relevant departments

Reduce batch samples for spray-outs

Conduct hand spray panels for defect analysis

Perform low-level analytical testing on intermediates

Verify calibration of laboratory equipment

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and operating procedures
Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required

Prior QC experience in a chemical or coatings manufacturing environment preferred

College-level coursework in chemistry and math preferred

Basic understanding of mathematics and scientific principles is essential
