Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer existing systems, and resolve relevant staff technology requests, with primary emphasis on server and endpoint operations and security.
- Responsible for Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange and Intune.
- Install, deploy, patches, and maintain server environment, including physical, virtual, hypervisor, SAN storage, and Cloud-based equivalent systems.
- Manage backups of the server environment including configuration, monitoring, and verification.
- Set-up, configure, deploy, and support endpoints (PCs, Macs, iPads, iPhones) and associated peripherals including printers, docks, video conferencing equipment, and specialized scan equipment.
- Manage Microsoft and third-party software; ensure that essential security posture is maintained via monitoring and timely patching.
- Collaborate with the IT Team to administer Microsoft 365 systems including Exchange Online, OneDrive, Intune, SharePoint, and Azure.
- Research and continue building additional Microsoft 365 capabilities.
- Maintain cybersecurity systems and posture as it relates to system administrator responsibilities including servers and endpoints.
- Maintain, upgrade, and support a variety of software including Apache and IIS Web servers, as well as SQL Server databases.
- Collaborate with the IT Team to administer and deploy identity and access management systems including AD, Entra, and DUO.
- Diagnose and respond to staff technology needs.
- Collaborate with the IT Team to administer audio/visual systems in conference rooms and meeting spaces.
- 3 years of technical support/system administration experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration including Exchange, Entra, and SharePoint.
- Proficiency in using Intune for PC imaging, creating and administering Active Directory, and managing Microsoft 365 accounts.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining Windows Server including scripting with PowerShell.
- Networking experience (Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, etc.).
- Proficiency in setting-up, configuring, and maintaining Windows and Macintosh PCs including using Group Policy settings and Microsoft Intune.
- Experience in server and endpoint patch management.
- Experience troubleshooting issues involving PCs, network cables, print servers, and printers.
- Relevant certifications.
- Experience with Linux Server administration including:
- Configuration and maintenance (scripting with Linux Shell);
- Storage management (SAN, NAS, Cloud-based Storage);
- Backup system management;
- VMware Server virtualization infrastructure.
