Sr. IT Project Manager/Product Owner

Summary

This IT Project Manager/Product Owner will work on a transformation project moving clients from a legacy system to a new system/product.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross-project management, including tracking current and upcoming features, from the Business to the Development Team.
• Provided product ownership, owning the requirements and technical documentation process from the Business to the Development Team.
• Provide leadership for the transformation project management.
  
  

Requirements

• Extensive high-level Project Management and Product Ownership experience.
• Background in SDLC, preferably with experience in a development team as Developer or Architect.
• Technically minded with the skillset to manage multiple projects around the same platform, balancing and coordinating several related efforts.
• Experience with requirements gathering including the ability to create effective epics and stories.
• Ability to manage and coordinate related, but different, efforts across a common platform.
• Presentation skills for both technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working with Atlassian-based products (Jira, Confluence, Loom, Trello) and Salesforce.
• Experience with product-side SDLC practices: problem framing, discovery, PRD documentation, and story creation/decomposition.
• Experience with Risk & Dependency Management: dependency conflicts, infrastructure reliability concerns, capacity bottlenecks.
• Proficiency with data integration: data movement, transformation, and integration.
  
  

Preferred

• Solid understanding of platform engineering, access control, and authentication concepts, as well as testing methodologies defect lifecycle, and triage
• ScrumMaster experience.
• Technical Writing experience.
