Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical resource for the Cybersecurity Team.
- Lead security-related projects and operational initiatives.
- Assign and coordinate work across engineering resources.
- Support incident response, vulnerability management, and security operations.
- Manage and enhance Identity & Access Management controls.
- Assist with compliance, audit preparation, and security governance activities.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to improve security posture.
- Deliver security awareness and onboarding training.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
- 5 years of cybersecurity or security engineering experience.
- CISSP or equivalent senior-level cybersecurity certification.
- Security or SSCP certification.
- Experience leading security initiatives, projects, and technical resources.
- Security operations, incident response, and threat management experience.
- Experience in vulnerability management and security control implementations.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience.
- In-depth knowledge of security governance, risk, and compliance practices.
- Experience supporting Cloud-based environments including Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Okta;
- CrowdStrike;
- Proofpoint;
- BeyondTrust;
- Snowflake.
- Experience developing automation or user provisioning scripts.
- Security architecture or compliance audit support experience.
- Experience leading onboarding programs or security training sessions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within highly regulated industries including insurance, banking, finance, or healthcare.
- Travel Requirements:
- One week onsite during initial onboarding;
- Quarterly travel (3-4 days per visit) required;
- Additional travel may be needed based on project or team requirements.
- Ability to mentor, train, and develop junior security professionals.
