Key Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture supportive relationships with students to promote a positive academic environment
- Offer personalized academic and career guidance tailored to each student's goals and challenges
- Monitor student attendance and performance, identifying those in need of additional support and intervention
- Assist students in navigating campus resources, services, and support systems designed for their success
- Collaborate with faculty to help at-risk students and develop intervention strategies
- Conduct orientation sessions and workshops to inform students about resources and opportunities
- Document student interactions and track their academic progress and outcomes
- Organize and participate in student engagement initiatives that foster a sense of community and belonging
- Prior experience in student advising, counseling, or mentoring, preferably in an educational or beauty-related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with students
- Ability to understand and address the academic challenges faced by students
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with faculty and staff
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to juggle various responsibilities
