Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. Your expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair will help guide customers through their service needs while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate MUST possess strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Duties
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs required, including diagnostics and maintenance.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Prepare accurate service estimates and maintain clear communication with customers throughout the service process.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and dealership promotions.
Experience
- Previous experience in an automotive service environment is REQUIRED.
- Strong background in auto service management, automotive diagnostics, and mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, alignments, transmissions, air brakes, suspension work, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, and auto body repair.
- Experience in sales or upselling automotive services is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
- Previous tire sales experience
