We’re looking for a VP of Architecture to lead the technical direction of our global product suite – an executive-level technical strategist, who can drive innovation, scale our products, and drive transformation across a rapidly growing portfolio. Our exceptional growth has been supported through acquisitions, and this is a rare opportunity to directly impact the architecture of industry-leading software used by the world’s largest enterprises.

What You’ll Do

• Set the Architecture Vision: Define and evolve the technical architecture of the Tricentis platform to support exponential growth, including the management and definition of extensively used systems.
• Lead the AI Architecture Strategy: Define how AI/ML capabilities are embedded across the Tricentis platform — from intelligent test automation and analytics to AI-assisted development workflows — ensuring scalable, responsible, and enterprise-ready adoption.
• Lead Platform Transformation: Architect and modernize legacy products into scalable, cloud-native SaaS solutions using modern technologies and microservices.
• Drive Technology Strategy: Align architectural decisions with business goals, collaborating with product and engineering leaders to define and execute on the technical roadmap.
• Foster Engineering Excellence: Partner with C-staff leadership to weigh in on M&A activities, establish shared best practices, development frameworks and scalable systems across globally distributed teams.
• Mentor and Scale: Build, coach, and empower a high-performing architecture team embedded across engineering squads.
• Prototype and Prove: Lead proof-of-concept development of new ideas, demonstrating feasibility and value while guiding teams through technical decisions.
• Champion Innovation: Evaluate and integration emerging technologies such as AI, cloud-native analytics and advanced DevOps tolling to stay ahead of the curve.
• Act as a Trusted Advisor: Be a key influencer and thought leader across the organization – from the C-suite to technical contributors-helping guide major strategic decisions.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Executive-Level Technical Experience: More than seven years in senior architecture roles with responsible equivalent to VP-level leadership
• AI-Native Architecture Experience: Demonstrated experience integrating AI technologies (LLMs, applied ML, or AI-driven automation) into SaaS platforms, with a strong understanding of data architecture, model lifecycle considerations, and responsible AI practices.
• SaaS at Scale: Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-native platforms and products in high-growth SaaS companies.
• Enterprise Readiness: Experience scaling technology architectures to serve large enterprise customers across geographies, time zones, and compliance frameworks.
• Transformation Leadership: A successful track record modernizing legacy applications and leading organizations through architecture evolution.
• Business & Tech Alignment: A deep understanding of how architecture choices drive or hinder outcomes.
• Influential Leadership: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around complex technical strategies.
• Hands-On Visionary: You’re equally comfortable leading strategy and rolling up your sleeves to build prototypes or debug architecture decisions.
