What are the responsibilities and job description for the LCSW/LCMHC position at TRICARE COUNSELING & CONSULTING, INC.?
We provide counseling services to children ages 4 and older, adolescents, and adults. Our LCSW works mainly with adults.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive clinical assessments and prepare treatment plans
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients with a variety of mental health concerns
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide counseling services to clients with special needs
- Utilize art therapy techniques to help clients express themselves and explore their emotions
- Provide chronic pain counseling to help clients manage their symptoms
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in psychopharmacology
- Provide psycho-education as necessary to coordinate care with other professionals
Qualifications
– Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field
– State licensure as a LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire
– Experience working with diverse populations
– Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR
– Strong communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds
