Maintenance Technician – Renovations Specialist
Full time, $20 (depending on experience), benefits available after initial waiting period, including free employee medical insurance.
EPA and Pool Operators License a Plus!
Flexible Schedule Required
Reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. Ensure apartment homes are ready for new residents. Manage and complete all steps of the apartment renovation process from vendor scheduling, product ordering, to demolition and installation of new fixtures, appliances, and hardware. Complete resident work order tickets efficiently and professionally. Perform general maintenance, including painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, and HVAC. Maintain pools by testing chemicals, cleaning, basic repairs, and keeping logs. Assist in product ordering and vendor oversight. Available for maintenance emergencies, on a rotating schedule.
Previous maintenance experience strongly preferred. EPA or Pool Operator’s License is a plus! Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize projects. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on delivering excellent customer service. Ability to move appliances with a dolly and lift heavy objects, up to 75 pounds with assistance.
