Part-Time Bookkeeper (1099 Independent Contractor) – Real Estate Company (In-Person, Great Neck, NY)
We are a growing real estate investment company based in Great Neck, NY (East Shore Rd), focused on fix-and-flip and fix-and-hold projects. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented bookkeeper (independent contractor) to support our team.
Schedule:
- Approximately 20–24 hours per week (in-person)
- Preferred working hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 3 days per week
Compensation:
- $17.50 – $22.50 per hour (1099 independent contractor)
Responsibilities:
- Categorize transactions and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks
- Process and track payments to vendors
- Communicate with vendors to follow up on invoices and resolve billing issues
- Track and log rent payments from tenants
- Organize and maintain financial records across multiple projects
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Strong experience with QuickBooks (required)
- Prior bookkeeping experience (real estate experience is a plus)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage tasks independently and stay organized across multiple projects
