Job Title:   TribeTalk Regional Trainer

Location: US and Canada (Must be available summer 2026 and academic year 2026-27, including some weekends; willing to travel)

Job Type: Independent Contractor/Part-Time

Job Summary:

TribeTalk is seeking experienced and dynamic educators to lead TribeTalk programs across North America. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging and impactful training sessions to diverse middle and high school student (and, at times, parent) groups, helping to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to recognize and respond to the issues of antisemitism and anti-Zionism. The trainers will work closely with our national team to continue to develop, implement and expand our national reach.

TribeTalk regional trainers will lead trainings in evenings and on weekends and will be asked to travel across their home region, based on their availability. This is an ideal role for teachers, Jewish professionals, Israel and Jewish educators, and others looking to supplement their income while having a positive impact on the Jewish community.

TribeTalk regional trainers will be paid per program, with a baseline compensation of $500 per day (commensurate with experience), plus additional compensation for multiple programs in a 24-hour period. Travel expenses and per diem will also be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training programs that meet the needs of our student and parent communities.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Participate in regular training programs for regional trainers, to include initial onboarding educational program.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas of improvements as needed through survey and follow up questionnaires.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance and to provide a robust training experience for the students.
  • Provide feedback and support to participants to enhance their learning experience.
  • Stay updated on the latest training techniques, tools, and industry trends.
  • Assist in the enhancement of training materials, including manuals, slide decks, and handouts as appropriate.
  • Track and report on training outcomes and participant progress.
  • Coordinate logistics of training programs with host organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Jewish Studies, Middle East Studies or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience as a trainer or facilitator, preferably in a nonprofit or community-based organization, and preferably with middle school, high school, and college-aged students.
  • Understanding of Judaism and Jewish history, antisemitism, Middle East policy, and related subject matters.
  • Strong knowledge of training methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of participants.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Canva, and virtual training platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

Ideal Skills:

  • Adaptability: Ability to tailor training programs to meet the varying needs of different groups.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding and respecting diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Empathy: Ability to connect with participants and address their unique challenges.
  • Creativity: Developing innovative training materials and methods to engage participants.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with using and teaching with digital tools and platforms.
  • Continuous Learner: Commitment to personal and professional growth in training and development.

Application Process:

Interested candidates should complete the application at https://forms.gle/N62uZ7Bgq6VjrbBP6 and submit their resume and cover letter.

Successful applicants will be required to participate in four, one-hour virtual onboarding sessions in January to March 2026, and complete a virtual practice training.
