Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring products meet strict quality standards. This candidate will be responsible for inspecting the assembled cabinets on the assembly line for any signs of damages. This ideal candidate will have prior wood working experience, and have the knowledge to make small repairs, like filling scratches and paint touch ups. We are looking for a candidate that has prior experience with power and hand tools.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of outgoing cabinets
- Inspect the cabinets for any visible signs of damage
- Communicate the needed repairs with the assembler, so they can make the necessary adjustments
- Make sure each cabinet is evaluated and ready for shipment
- Properly wiping down the cabinets so there are no remaining adhesives
- Make minor repairs to fix any scratches or chips in the paint of the cabinet
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control, quality inspection, or related roles within manufacturing environments.
- Prior knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
