We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated CDL A Truck Driver to join our team in. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate tractor-trailers across over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, including OTR driving routes.
- Transport refrigerated freight following FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, and deliveries in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance.
Skills
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with refrigerated trailers
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning.
- Understanding of FMCSA, DOT regulations
- Strong skills in route driving, delivery driving, and logistics cargo handling.
