This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cedarhurst, NY. As a Strength Trainer Assistant Manager, you will play a dual role in providing fitness coaching and managing the daily operations of the training club. Day-to-day tasks include leading training sessions, creating personalized fitness plans, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring a smooth operation of the club. Additional responsibilities involve supporting and motivating members, managing schedules, coordinating with staff, and assisting in promoting the club’s values and services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of strength training techniques, exercise programming, and fitness coaching best practices
- Experience in assisting or managing gym operations, scheduling, and client management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on client engagement and motivation
- Organizational and leadership abilities to manage team operations and ensure high-quality service delivery
- Relevant certifications, such as CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) or strength and conditioning accreditations, are preferred
- Experience working with a male clientele is a plus
- Passion for fitness, discipline, and fostering a supportive community
