Who You Are:

The Assistant Project Manager supports Project Managers in the execution of commercial electrical construction projects and is developing the skills to manage projects independently. This position handles project documentation, submittals, procurement support, and tracking, while learning the financial and leadership responsibilities of the project manager seat in a growing, entrepreneurial organization. 

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Project Manager across the project lifecycle, from buyout through closeout. 

• Prepare and process submittals, requests for information, and project documentation, keeping records accurate in the HUB and Autodesk. 

• Support material and labor buyouts, coordinate procurement, and track deliveries against the schedule. 

• Assist in preparing change orders and maintaining budget and cost tracking under the Project Manager's direction. 

• Maintain project tracking documents (ex. Clear the Path, Work in Place, etc.). 

• Support job site coordination and communication between the office, field crews, and customers. 

• Experience or education in construction management, electrical contracting, or a related field. 

• Strong communication, organizational, critical thinking and time management skills. 

• Basic computer skills required, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

What You’ll Bring:

• 2-3 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative support role
• Experience in Fire Alarm, Low Voltage, and Access Control systems is required
• Experience in construction or contracting is preferred
• Strong customer service experience; client-facing communication is essential
• Ability to multitask, shift priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
